About this book

A Veteran's Guide to Buying, Refinancing, and Keeping a Home with Your VA Loan Benefit

You earned a home loan benefit, and plenty of veterans never use it. Others use a fraction of it. They put money down they didn't have to, or pay a funding fee they didn't owe, because nobody walked them through the rules.

This guide explains how the VA home loan works in plain language, from your Certificate of Eligibility through refinancing, reusing your entitlement, and keeping your home if you fall behind. It's written for the veteran using the benefit, not the lender selling the loan. It won't tell you your rate. It shows you what to ask.
