FWD Assist HQ LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit fwdassisthq.com (the "Site") or use our educational resources and account features.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Your email address if you choose to sign up for optional VA updates
Your name, email address, and message when you use our contact form
Account details for members who created an account under earlier versions of the Site
Payment information if purchases open in the future. Purchases are not open right now. When they are, payments will be processed by Stripe, and we will never store your full card number.

Information collected automatically:

Browser type, operating system, and device information
IP address and approximate geographic location
Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referral sources
Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

Tool inputs and saved records

The interactive tools calculate in your browser. New tool inputs and results are not saved to an account or emailed to us. Printing and data downloads happen on your device, without sending those results to a PDF or email processor. The readiness quiz also keeps its answers and result tier in the browser. Downloaded files may contain personal information; protect them on shared devices.

Earlier versions stored tool inputs and results, legacy document analyses, and some readiness-related subscriber tags. Those existing records have not been silently deleted. Signed-in members can reopen existing saved results and download their saved data from the dashboard. Contact us for access to other retained data. We will provide notice and a copy before retiring stored records; no automatic deletion date is set. Historical processor, server-log, and backup retention may differ from active account storage.

Search terms are sent to our server in the request body to answer your search, not added to the search-page URL. Please do not put medical details, claim numbers, or Social Security numbers in search or in contact messages. Hosting and error logs may include request metadata; this is separate from the browser-only tool calculations.

Free resources need no email

The free guides, worksheets, toolkits, tools, and downloads are open to everyone. You do not need to sign up, create an account, or give us an email address to use or download them. Hosting logs may contain the pages and files you requested.

Optional VA updates

The "Get VA Updates" signup is optional and nothing on the Site is locked behind it. The consent box starts unchecked, and we only save your signup if you check it yourself.

If you sign up, we store your email address, the version of the consent wording you agreed to, the signup date, and whether you are still subscribed. We do not ask for your name, your conditions, your claim details, or your VA records, and we do not attach them to your signup.

Signing up does not send a welcome email or start a series of emails. No update emails are being sent right now. When they start, we will email only about the yearly rate change in December, big VA rule changes, and new guides, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe.

You can ask us to remove your email address at any time through our contact page. Some people signed up through earlier versions of the Site. Those signups are kept on the same terms and can be removed the same way.

Contact form

Messages sent through our contact form are emailed to the site owner so we can reply to you. They are not added to the updates list and are not used for marketing.

3. How We Use Your Information

To improve our website, products, and user experience

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:

Payment processors (Stripe), only if purchases open in the future
Email service providers to deliver contact form messages and, when they start, the optional updates
Hosting and storage providers to operate the site and retain account records. Google Analytics is currently disabled.
Law enforcement or legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Remember your preferences
Google Analytics is disabled; we do not use tool answers for advertising or analytics.
Improve site performance

If purchases open in the future, payments will be handled by Stripe using industry-standard encryption. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Site is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
